Position Overview: Work as a X-Ray Technologist in our WOW Program (Work on Weekends). This position is for a full-time weekend x-ray position, working double shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 7a to 11p, for 32 hours. Will have the option to pick up another shift during the week to obtain the full 40 hours, if desired. Telemetry I/3200 is a 27 bed unit. Working on a telemetry floor presents the opportunity for all nurses to learn and understand how to identify, interpret and manage cardiac rhythms, as well as receiving continuing education on cardiac treatments, medications, and cardiac drips. In addition to cardiac patients, Telemetry I/3200 cares for pulmonary patients (pneumonia and COPD), gastrointestinal patients (gastrointestinal bleeds, small bowel obstructions), ICU step down patients (tracheostomy care, percutaneous endo-gastric tube management, total parenteral nutrition management, foley catheter management, wound care).   To facilitate the provision of patient care by performing specific nursing tasks and other support functions in compliance with hospital policy and procedures as delegated by licensed nursing personnel.   Pre-Employment Requirements: - We are a drug free facility. Anticipated length of stay for these patients is less than 48 hours. The unit provides expert quality care to patients utilizing an interdisciplinary collaborative approach in an effort to return the patient to their highest level of wellness.
