Springhill Medical Center is a full-service hospital serving southwest Alabama. Our surgical services include outpatient, inpatient, open-heart and robotic surgery. Position Overview: In this position you will be responsible for preparing, delivering and assembling catered food. 

Pre-employment Requirements:

• We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

• All employees are required to be vaccinated or provide a valid medical or religious exemption.

Education Requirements:

• Validation of high school diploma or equivalent, but will consider previous related work experience.

Job Requirements:

• Current MCHD Food Handlers Card.
• Must be able to follow safe food handling guidelines.
• Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record; must be able to drive a motor vehicle.
• Food preparation/service experience or catering experience required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule. 
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be a team player and present in a professional manner.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to be cross trained.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
