Springhill Medical Center is a full service hospital serving southwest Alabama. Our surgical services include outpatient, inpatient, open-heart and robotic surgery. The campus is also home to primary care physicians, a senior residence, sleep center, cancer center, orthopaedic surgery center, wound care & hyperbaric center, and an emergency department staffed by all board-certified emergency medicine physicians.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
• All employees are required to be vaccinated or provide a valid medical or religious exemption.

Position goal:

• Responsible for the supervision of RN Case Managers and Social Workers.
• As direct supervisor aligns/supports department RN Case Managers and Social Workers to meet departmental goals.
• Provides area education and training.
• Supports all personnel as valuable assets to the institution.
• Evaluates staff performance.
• Coordinates assignments and schedules to ensure adequate case management coverage.

Education Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN required.
• Current licensure in the State of Alabama is required.

Experience:

• Minimum two years case management experience in an acute care hospital required.
• Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and decision making ability.
• Demonstrates the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
