Springhill Medical Center is a full service hospital serving southwest Alabama. In our continued commitment to providing high quality health care, Springhill Medical Center is offering patients and families an enhanced continuum of care in our Inpatient Rehabilitation Center (IRC). A comprehensive rehabilitation program, the Unit is designed to assist patients in reaching their maximum potential while having a short length of stay. Inpatient Rehab at Springhill Medical Center recently earned a three-year CARF Accreditation for the comprehensive integrated inpatient rehabilitation program and the stroke specialty program. 

 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Shift is 7pm-7am. Must be willing to work every other weekend. Weekends only shift available upon request. 

 

Our comprehensive rehabilitation unit is designed to assist patients in reaching their maximum potential while having a short length of stay.

 

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
  • All employees are required to be vaccinated or provide a valid medical or religious exemption.

Requirements:

  • Current RN License and ACLS/BLS certification required.
  • Rehab experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and the ablility to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a strong customer service focus.
  • Strong assessment, organizational and problem-solving skills as evidenced by the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and role components required.
  • Ability to function independently and exercise judgment in interactions with physicians, interprofessional care team and patients, and their families.
