    Springhill Medical Center is a full service hospital serving southwest Alabama. Our surgical services include outpatient, inpatient, open-heart and robotic surgery. The hospital is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment, meaning doctors have advanced technology to help them quickly determine a patient's health problem. Springhill's unique heart center offers state-of-the-art services all under one roof. The campus is also home to primary care physicians, a senior residence, sleep center, cancer center, orthopaedic surgery center, wound care & hyperbaric center, and an emergency department staffed by all board-certified emergency medicine physicians.

     

    Responsibilities & Qualifications

    We receive a multitude of patients. If you are looking for a varied skillset and amassing skills, 3200 can provide this. Most of our patients wear a heart monitor throughout their stay, meaning you will learn how to interpret cardiac rhythms. We receive Cardiac patients, (Chest pain workups, Congestive Heart Failure, cardiac arrhythmia management, and drips) Pulmonary patients, (Pneumonia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) Gastrointestinal patients, (Gastrointestinal bleeding, Small Bowel Obstruction, Chrohn’s flare) Pediatric patients, (anywhere from 2 days old up to 17 years old, mostly post-operative Tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies, bone fractures requiring hospitalization, and appendectomies) and ICU step-down patients (these can include Tracheostomy care, Percutaneous Endo-Gastric tube management, Total Parenteral Nutrition management, Foley Catheter management, wound care, and understanding complex diagnoses.)

     

    Requirements:

    • Current RN License
    • Excellent patient care assessment and customer service skills.
